Sunday Postcard: Loch Ness, Scotland

Caledonian Canal, Fort Augustus, Scotland
The Caledonian Canal connects Scottish east-coast at Inverness to the Scottish west-coast at Fort William connecting four major lakes (or ‘Lochs’) which are part of the Great Glen. The above picture was taken near Fort Augustus where the canal feeds into the Loch Ness. The canal is also famous for its series of dramatic locks which add to the picturesque beauty of the place.
